As a Kiwi I grew up eating venison, small medallions cooked on the sizzling hotplate, rich and lean. Although it’s one of the healthiest red meats, I’ve never really seen it on menus here in Australia. After ‘meating’ fellow Kiwi Jonas Widjaja, venison is on my radar again. Unwind with a Tweed River Cruise
I’ve driven over the Tweed River many times but last week I actually got to float down it, thanks to Tweed Endeavour Cruises. The Tweed River flows through Northern New South Wales and was discovered in 1823 by John Oxley, an English explorer and surveyor.
