Brisbane French Festival
'Le Festival' is the annual celebration of all things French in Brisbane and is hosted at South Bank around Bastille Day. I decided to get into the spirit for the Brisbane French Festival, donning stripes, red scarf and beret. Apparently I was the only one with the time or inclination to do this. Backyard bee keeping
I dream of getting a block of land, building a tiny house, planting an orchard, raising chickens and keeping bees. On Tuesday night I had my first insight into the world of bee keeping. I went to a workshop by Inspired Living Events to hear Paul Wood from Brisbane Backyard Bees share his joy for these busy little honey makers. Why you should be a tourist in your own town
I've lived in Brisbane for more than 6 years but I’m still excited by this ol’ town because I make a point of discovering new things. Actually one of my life mantras is to ‘try new things’.
